Boaters Reminded to Boat Safe, Boat Sober This Summer

As part of Operation Dry Water on June 26-28, wildlife officers and cooperating law enforcement agencies will conduct saturation patrols, checkpoints and educational efforts throughout the state's waterways. Operating a recreational vessel while under the influence of an impairing substance or with a blood-alcohol concentration of .08 or higher is illegal. Penalties may include fines up to $1,000 and jail.
