     Here at BirdBrain Ostrich Ranch Inc. We offer a unique look into the ostrich industry, past and present. We are an operational facility, our purpose is to raise ostrich as a source of healthy red meat. Our livestock is raised chemical free, without steroids or growth hormones. BirdBrain Ostrich Ranch is a small farm with approximately 50 ostrich of various ages on the farm at any time. Visitors are educated about the industries past in the USA. We have on Display many postcards and other memorabilia from ostrich farms of the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. We also show the variety of products that are obtained from the Ostrich. Such as meat, leather, feathers, eggs, eggshells and oil (which is used in a wide selection of homemade soaps and other toiletries), As well as being offered an up close encounter with these strange critters while feeding them their “dinosaur food”! A variety of ostrich products and souvenirs are also available for purchase. Our visitors will also have the opportunity to taste ostrich. We always have something to sample!
