NC Fishing Regulations
When you catch a fish, you have
a choice to make, release it to grow and maybe catch again
or keep it. If you plan to release it, do so as soon
as possible. Taking a minute for photos is OK, but do
so quickly. If you plan to keep it you must first know
is it's legal to keep it.
Taking a fish home for an aquarium or
water garden is not recommended. Making a meal from
your catch is a better choice provided you know how to clean
and prepare it.
